Biography
|
Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, Phoebe Bradley grew up living in Korea, Thailand, Turkey, India and
England. After graduating from High school in New Delhi,
India, she attended
art schools in London, Minneapolis and San Francisco. In addition to exhibiting
her own work, Phoebe has been a juror for the Chicago International Film Festival,
coordinated a documentary film series for the University of Kansas, worked as an
artistic consultant for theater and dance productions, written art reviews for the
Berkeley Monthly Magazine and written a science fiction novel. In the fall
of 2007, Phoebe was commissioned by the Lux Art Institute in Encinitas, CA, to
create a 72' mural for their Copley Classroom. In addition, Phoebe has been
teaching art to children since 1985.
Phoebe Bradley is the founder of
Art Soiree, a unique company hosting vibrant collaborative public art
projects for parties and Phoebe lives with her artist husband Sheldon Brown and their two daughters in Southern California. |
